Bellator’s first PPV event under Scott Coker takes place June 24th, 2017 at Madison Square Garden in New York.
The main event is a much anticipated bout between rivals Chael Sonnen and Wanderlei Silva. The co-main event is a re-booking of Fedor Emelianenko and Matt Mitrione.
Now a third fight was been added to the PPV event.
Michael Chandler will be defending his lightweight belt against Brent Primus. Chandler is coming off 4 straight victories, the latest against former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson.
Brent Primus is still rather green, but through 7 professional fights he remains undefeated. 5 of those 7 wins have been under the Bellator banner.
Another title fight has been added to the Bellator PPV.
Recently acquired Lorenz Larkin will be challenging Douglas Lima for the welterweight strap.
Douglas Lima has long been considered one of the best welterweights outside of the UFC, but he is up for a tough challenge when he takes on Lorenz Larkin.
Larkin is coming off wins over Jorge Masvidal and Neil Magny in the UFC, before making the jump to Bellator.
Lima on the other hand, is coming off wins over Paul Daley and Andrey Koreshkov.
